Oscar

BEARDED DRAGON

Oscar was named after the character from Sesame Street because he was found in a trashcan. He was brought to BVS for treatment, and now he’s thriving! Oscar is still growing, and while he gets stronger every day, he spends his time basking on his wood branch, eating mealworms in his daily salads, and working as an education animal for BVS. And if you’re wondering what Oscar’s special skill is, it’s definitely finding the coziest sleeping spot in his enclosure.

Albert and Elmer

RATS

Albert and Elmer are young rats adopted from Mainely Rat Rescue. Albert’s really good at sniffing out hidden treats and is a great climber, while Elmer is an expert cuddler and enjoys strolls on the rat wheel. When it comes to nap time, these two rats love to snooze in their hammocks.
